As low-budget travelers, we appreciated the affordable rates at the W hotel. They also provided helpful recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was stylish and comfortable, just as we expected from a W hotel. The central location near Union Square made it easy to access transportation and enjoy the nearby farmer's market and restaurants.

Location is great, close to the Village and Chelsea. The subway is right outside the door. Comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. Friendly and attentive staff. Lovely old bank building converted to a hotel ten years ago. Coffee in the lobby.

The room was comfortable, but although the hotel overlooks Union Square Park, our room looked out onto a brick wall. It made the room dark, and it would have been nice to have had a view.

The hotel was so convenient as I was bringing my son back to school. The room was very comfortable and the hotel and staff were attentive to all of my needs even as we were making it through Hurricane Irene.

I had alot of difficulty connecting to the wi-fi in the room despite repeated attempts. I wasn't sure if this was related to the hurricane. I then went to the business center and I was a bit surprised to find out there was a charge to access the internet and very expensive in my mind.

The location was excellent - easy to get around, near the underground station. Good restaurant and bar. Excellent breakfast and quality coffee. Great staff.

The hotel has a very central location. It's only a 10-15 minute walk from the 14 Street - Union Square subway station, which made getting around the city really easy. We were able to easily travel around the city from this hotel. We booked a table at IRVINGTON, their onsite restaurant. The Wi-Fi was an added bonus.

Staff were friendly and the clocation is central and friendly. Beds are always comfortable and room was well appointed.
